SHARK DIVING IN FUERTEVENTURA

‘Deep Blue Angels’ was the first shark diving article I’d written to highlight my regiment’s expedition to Fuerteventura. We not only trained the crew in the BSAC diver training syllabus but learned about and studied Angel Sharks on many of the dive sites.

Using Deep Blue dive centre as our base we spent a week in the warmth of the Canary Islands and met Fernando Reiss, who taught us how to measure, sex and interact with the Angel Sharks that had come to breed.
