Hi, I’m Andy. Welcome to my website!
I’m working towards a move into the HSE SCUBA – Media and Scientific industry as a Safety Diver, Surface Supervisor, Camera Assistant and Presenter.
Based in the North West of England, and on my doorstep, I have a variety of places to dive, photograph and create videos from.
Lakes, quarries, rivers, and the sea, all have a story to tell, and I love to uncover the mysteries hidden above and below their surface to inspire those yet to discover such fantastic spaces.
MY ADVENTURES
Using my infectious enthusiasm for adventure and zest for life, I love nothing more than creating inspirational films that educate and inform the next generation in such a way they feel empowered to strive for similar if not greater opportunities.
I am the host of the “Are you a Scuba Diver – Fancy a Brew?” Podcast. Reaching out to the wider diving industry with engaging in conversations about ocean conservation, professional, recreational and technical SCUBA diving to inspire more people to plan their own diving adventures. Follow my journey into cold water, closed-circuit rebreather, HSE Professional diving and wildlife documentary film making by subscribing to my YouTube channel!
Most of my adult life has been spent in the hills and mountains, countryside and waters around the UK so it’s fair to say I’m obsessed with adventure.
MY TRAINING
I’m a BSAC Advanced Diver and Open Water Instructor, TDI Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver and a Military Diving Supervisor through the JSSADC. Trained by Nick Robertson-Brown and Adam Hanlon, hopefully, my photo galleries and videos will give you a perspective of what it’s like to live a life of adventure in and out of the water.
