Biography
I’m a passionate SCUBA diver, adventurer, filmmaker, and underwater photographer.
As the host of the ‘Are you a SCUBA Diver – Fancy a Brew?’ podcast and the ‘Andy The Northern Diver’ YouTube channel, I get to speak about and involved with some amazing SCUBA-related projects.
HSE Professional Scuba
I qualified through Neil Brock and Bristol Channel Diving Services as a HSE Professional Scuba Diver, I’ve been involved in filming contracts with Sky, BBC and ITV as a safety diver and surface supervisor.
Branching into the Scientificside of diving, I’ve also been emplyed as an underwater photo and videographer aboard the tall ship Pelican of London. On Leg 3 of the Darwin 200 expedition I dived off the Isle of Skye, North Rona, the Orkney and Shetland islands.
As a commercial diver I have worked on municiple swimming pools up and down the country often over a number of days staying away overnight. This work has allowed my to call upon many of the skills and techniquies currently employed in my day to day job in property maintenance.

My time in the military has given me a place on several overseas expeditions, to learn, train and progress in ways I never expected.
