ARMY IN GIBRALTAR
Our military expedition to Gibraltar came during my first year of diving, as I worked toward qualifying as a BSAC Dive Leader. Still early in my training, the trip offered an invaluable opportunity to develop skills in a demanding and unfamiliar environment.

Diving in the busy waters of the Strait of Gibraltar required heightened awareness, discipline, and teamwork — qualities already ingrained through military service but now applied beneath the surface. Each dive reinforced the importance of planning, adaptability, and trust in both equipment and team.
