MY STORY
Growing up, I was always building ramps for my bike, launching myself into the unknown, climbing trees higher than I probably should have, and planning adventures before I even knew what the word really meant. Unfortunately, I lacked the support and guidance at home, that I needed to hone this adventurous spirit.
Risk didn’t scare me; it excited me. Exploration felt natural. Adrenaline felt like a drug!

I took on endurance challenges like the Three Peaks Challenge, raising money for charity while testing my physical and mental limits. Planning and leading dive expeditions, chasing the pull of the unknown beneath the surface. Adventure was never a phase; it is my life.
I became an HSE Professional Diver, turning passion into a profession. Commercial and Technical diving taught me precision under pressure and absolute trust in preparation and teamwork. When you’re working in hostile environments, where mistakes aren’t forgiven, you learn quickly who you are.

Adulthood didn’t tame the hunger for challenge; it sharpened it. Joining the Army, I spent over 15 years learning discipline, resilience, leadership, and how to remain calm when everything around me was moving fast. The Army didn’t create my appetite for adventure, it fed it; and gave me structure, purpose, and the support I lacked whilst growing up.

The two careers converged when an old friend spotted a tweet seeking divers for a TV production filming near my home. The supervisor favoured ex-military and gave me my first opportunity. Working alongside Belinda McGinley and Crispin Layfield on ITV’s Emmerdale was the catalyst for my journey toward membership of the British Stunt Register.
I spent the following 4 years training in several disciplines, battling injuries, financial constraints, family commitments before being accepted on 17th July 2025 as a probationary member of The British Stunt Register.
